Workshop on Mushroom cultivation and Vermicomposting was organized on 28th December 2021 at . Sree Siddaganga College of Arts, Science and Commerce for Women organized by the Department of Botany, SSCASCW, Tumakuru. Dr.K.C .Jayaswamy, Principal, SSCASCW, Tumakuru, Shri G.Chidananda Murthy, Prof and Head, Department of Botany and Dr Loganandhan.N, Principal Scientist and Head, ICAR-KVK, Hirehalli were present during inauguration programme.
Mr Ramesh P.R, SMS-Soil Science delivered lecture on Vermi composting techniques. Mrs.Radha R.Banakar SMS- Home Science gave a lecture on nutritional importance of different kinds of mushrooms along with oyster mushroom cultivation technique. This programme was attended by 65 students.
