Training programme on Climate smart agriculture was held at ICAR-KVK, Hirehalli, Tumakuru on 27.08.2021 to farmers and resource persons of APMAS NGO of Andhra Pradesh
Dr. Loganandhan N, Principal Scientist and Head, ICAR-KVK, Hirehalli has welcomed the farmers of APMAS NGO, Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh to the programme and explained the mandates of KVK. Mr. Ramesh.P.R, Subject Matter Specialist (Soil Science) has explained NICRA interventions soil and water conservation works, short duration and drought tolerant crop varieties, multi cut fodder CoFS-29 variety, agro forestry and dryland horticulture. Farmers were then taken to the KVK demonstration units. Later farmers were taken to the NICRA village D.Nagenahalli, Koratagere Taluk, Tumakuru for exploring NICRA demonstrations.
