Training programme on Animal Nutrition and Health Camp on 12th February 2022 at Chikkadoddavadi, Koratagere Taluk, Tumakuru
Training programme on Animal nutrition and health camp was held at Chikkadoddavadi, Koratagere Taluk, Tumakuru on 12th Feb,2022 by ICAR – Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Hirehalli, Tumakuru in collaboration with Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, TUMAKURU (Veterinary Hospital), Koratagere, Kolala. Dr. Loganandhan, N., Head inaugurated the event. He explained about the NICRA project, importance of soil health and fodder varieties and motivated the farmers to get benefited from the programme. Dr. Siddanagowda, Assistant Director, Veterinary department has informed the farmers to get animals vaccinated from time to time provided by the department and protect the animals. He also explained about balanced animal food, good healthy milk and management of diseased animals. Dr.Datta, Dr.Shridhar and Dr.Manjunath have provided treatment to animals. Mr. Ramesh.P.R, Subject Matter Specialist (Soil Science) has explained NICRA interventions and multi-cut fodder CoFS-29 & 31 varieties. Mr. Prashant.J.M, SMS (Horticulture) assisted in conducting the programme. Mr.Hanumantappa, Member, Yelerampura, Grama Panchayat, Mr.Mahesh, President, Gramachetana FPO, Members of Dairy Cooperatives Society of Chikkadaddavadi have participated in the programme. Total 380 animals were provided with general treatment, deworming, insemination related problems and mineral mixture and distributed multi-cut fodder CoFS-29 seeds were to the farmers. About 53 farmers have participated in the health camp.
