Off campus Training on Nutri-Garden at Badavanahalli village on 23rd July 2020
Off-campus training on Nutri-Garden was conducted on 23rd July 2020 at Badavanahalli village, Madugiri Taluk. Mrs Radha R.Banakar, SMS-Home Science, KVK, Hrehalli explained the role of fruits and vegetables in daily diet to achieve nutrition security among farm family members. Mr Prashanth J.M, SMS-Horticulture, KVK, Hirehalli explained about the layout and crop rotation. Mr Ramesh P.R SMS-Soil Science explained about use of organic micro nutrients and foliar application in nutri gardens. This training programme was attended by 15 farm womens from Badavanahalli village. Later basic data of selected farm families was collected and critical inputs where distributed to the selected farm womens and finally visited the spots where nutri gardens to be established.
