Method Demonstration on application of Coconut Tonic – Shri.Srinivas Reddy farmer field at Pavagada on 8th October 2020
A method demonstration was organized at farmer Shri.Srinivas Reddy field on application of coconut tonic in coconut on 8th October 2020 at Pavagada. Button shutting is the major issue in coconut garden in Tumakuru District. One of the solutions is application of coconut tonic of TNAU. This method demonstration was organized involving the farmers on how to mix the solution with water, selection of root of pencil thickness, cutting root and tying the solution using polythene bags. The technology was well received by the farmer and further application was done the farmer himself.
