Golden Jubilee Torch Relay Marks Milestone at ICAR KVK Hirehalli
On August 12, 2024, the Golden Jubilee Torch, symbolizing 50 years of unwavering dedication to agricultural advancement, was ceremoniously received by ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Hirehalli from KVK Konehalli, Tumakuru. The event was a proud moment in the ongoing celebrations marking the golden jubilee of ICAR-KVK.
The torch relay was greeted with grandeur and enthusiasm as the Siddaganga School band troupe led a vibrant welcome, accompanied by traditional cultural performances that resonated with the rich heritage of the region. The atmosphere was electric with anticipation and pride as the torch made its way into the venue.

The event was graced by distinguished guests, including the Chief Guest, Mr. Himantha Raj, Deputy Director, Department of Information and Public Relation, Tumakuru. Also in attendance were the esteemed Millionaire Farmer, Mr. Sathyanaraya from Madugiri, and Mr. Mruthanjaya, a Progressive Farmer known for his Integrated Farming System in Masanapura, Belavi, Tumakuru. Their presence added a layer of inspiration, reflecting the success and potential of modern farming practices in the region.
