Gandhi Jayanthi Celebration at KVK Hirehalli on 2nd October 2020
On October 2nd 2020, Gandhi Jayanthi programme was organized at ICAR-KVK, Hirehalli campus. Shri.Narasimmaiah, President of Karnataka Sarvodaya Institute took part as Chief Guest of the programme. Shri.Chandranna, Ex-Professor-Kannada, Tumakuru University and present Chairman, Red Cross Society, Speech and Hearing impact children Institute also took part in the programme as Guest of Honor. About 60 participants comprising staff and labor of KVK participated in the event. Dr.Loganandhan, Head, KVK welcomed the gathering. Shri.Narasimaiah, Gandhiian elaborated the sacrifice done by Gandhiji in getting freedom to our Country. Shri.Chandranna, explained about Shri. Lal Bahadur Shastriji, whose birth anniversary also fills on the same day, about his sacrifices to this country after the demise of Shri.Jawaharlal Nehru. Later, the chief guests distributed the prizes to the students who took part in the competition on October 1. The entire programme was compered by Mrs.Radha, SMS (HS).
