Food and Nutrition security on 17th July 2020 at Tanganahalli village, Koratagere Taluk
Off-campus training on Nutri-Garden was conducted on 17th July 2020 at Tanganahalli village, Koratagere Taluk. Mrs Radha R.Banakar, SMS-Home Science, KVK, Hrehalli explained the role of fruits and vegetables in daily diet to achieve nutrition security among farm family members. Mr Prashanth J.M, SMS-Horticulture, KVK, Hirehalli explained about the layout and use of organic micro nutrients and foliar application in nutri gardens. This training programme was attended by 20 farm womens from Tanganahalli village. Later basic data of selected farm families was collected and critical inputs where distributed to the selected farm womens and finally visited the spots where nutri gardens to be established.
