Delegates visit to TDC-NICRA village D.Nagenahalli
The NICRA Phase-II Lunching cum Annual Review 2021-22 & Action plan 2022-23 workshop under ICAR-ATARI, Zone-XI was organized in collaboration with CRIDA, Hyderabad during 13-14 June at ICAR- ATARI Bengaluru. After launching and inaugural session on 13.06.2022, the dignitaries and participants visited the TDC-NICRA village, D Nagenahalli, Koratagere taluk, Tumakuru district of Karnataka. Dr. Vinod Kumar Singh, Director, ICAR-CRIDA, Hyderabad, Dr. V. Venkatasubramanian, Director, ICAR-ATARI, Bengaluru. Dr. N. Loganandhanan, Head, KVK, Hirehalli, Mr. P.R. Ramesh, Scientist and nodal officer of NICRA, KVK, Hirehalli and Mr. J.M. Prashanth, Scientist, KVK, Hirehalli briefed about the interventions of resilient practices viz., water harvesting structures, dryland horticulture systems, custom hiring centre, seed and fodder production systems adopted by the farmers of D.Nagenahalli village during on-field visit.
