Awareness programme on Farmers Participatory Seed Production through FPO’s on 7th March 2022 at Hunasekatte
An awareness programme was arranged to the Board of Directors of Salugatte Farmers Producers Organization of Hunasekette by KVK, Hirehalli on Farmers Participatory Seed production. Dr.Somashekhar SMS(Plant Breeding) explained about the importance of Participatory seed production activity which can be promoted by the FPO’s for the enhancement of farmers income through this activity. He also explained modalities to be followed for the participation of the farmers. All the members of the BOD Agreed to take part in this collaborative programme in the future though FPO’s. Mr.Paramesh, CEO of the Salugatte FPO’s and Mr. Ningappa M H,Technical Assistant, KVK, Hirehalli, Coordinated and Assisted during the programme.
