Awareness programme for farmers on proper use of fertilizer at KVK Hirehalli on 22nd October 2019
Awareness programme for farmers on proper use of fertilizer was organised during 22nd October, 2019 at KVK Hirehalli, in collaboration with the Dept. of Agriculture, MCF, Bengaluru. The Programme started with ICAR and IIHR Theme Song. About 147 participants took part in the event. Mr.Shiva Prasad IMC Member IIHR, Bengaluru, Mr. Umesh Incharge Joint Director, Dept. of Agriculture, Tumakuru, Mr.Gurupurtresh Hiremath, Asst. Manger, Marketing, MCF, Bengaluru, Mr.Babanna.T, Asst. Manager (Sales), FACT, Tumakuru, Mr.Anand, Fertilizer Dealers,Tumakuru in presence of Dr.Loganandhan, N., Head, KVK, Hirehalli. Technical Session by Mr.Ramesh PR., SMS Soil Science covered topics like imbalanced use of plant nutrients, decline reasons ratio of soil to fertilizer application, New type of fertilizers, Use of soil health cards, Video show and Question and Answer. Participants were exposed to KVK farm activities. End of the programme, Farmer Sri Lingaraju, Koratagere, expressed their feedback praising the knowledge that they gained during the programme. During the day, Live telecast of Launching Program on Youtube link from ICAR (Address by Hon’ble Minister of Agriculture & FW).
