Training programme on Climate Smart Agriculture and PCRA by KVK Hirehalli on 19th April 2022
Training programme climate smart agriculture was held at D.Nagenahalli, Koratagere Taluk, Tumakuru on 19.04.2022 by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Hirehalli, Tumakuru.
Mr. Ramesh.P.R, Subject Matter Specialist (Soil Science) has welcomed the farmers and dignitaries. Dr.B.N.Srinivasa Murthy, Director, ICAR-IIHR, Bengaluru has explained the important technologies available at IIHR for the farmers to adopt them. He also motivated famers to participate in FPO and improve the FPO. Dr.V.Venaktasubramanian, Director, ICAR-ATARI, Bengaluru has explained the importance of adopting Natural Resource Management in agriculture to combat the climatic vulnerabilities. Dr.L.B.Naik praised the farmers for adopting climate resilient practices. Dr. N.Loganandhan, Principal Scientist and Head, ICAR-KVK has explained a few success stories of farmers who have adopted climate smart agriculture practices and improved their livelihood. Mr. Prashant.J.M, SMS (Horticulture) has assisted in conducting the programme. Mr.Nagaraj, ADA, Koratagere, Director, Deputy Director, PDO and members of Kolala Grama Panchayat and Directors of Gramachetana FPCL were participated in the programme. D.Nagenahlli farmers were congratulated by the Dignitaries for their participation in the adoption of climate smart agriculture practices. About 148 farmers were participated in the programme.
